Re: Snow White, Seven Dwarfs, 4 Munros & 1 Corbett!

Some more mountain porn from the no. 1 Mountain Pornographer    I remember climbing Geal Charn as a very boggy experience, you certainly had more fun doing it in white conditions. The coming weekend looks reasonable so I'm nagging my husband to visit Drumochter area. My plan: Carn na ...

Re: Ben Klibreck and some stunning beaches on the north coas

Cracking pictures :D And every time you post another photo of Ben Loyal my appetite for this mountain gets bigger! Ben Klibreck was also my husband's number 100, earlier this year. We walked it from Vagastie bridge and I remember the experience as very wet and windy. We didn't have the best weather ...

Re: The Monadhliath Munros,a great winter trek!

I must admit I've been waiting for your report... I was doing Xmas shopping in Inverness on Saturday and weather was nasty enough in the town (heavy rain, wind, cold :? :? ) so I wondered how much nastier it could be up on this vast Monadhliath plateau. Hats off to you for determination!

Windy wonderland on Knockfarrel Hill

Winter has officially arrived. The streets of Beauly are white today. It's been a hectic week and we were so busy we couldn't even think about planning any serious climbing for weekend. But I still wanted to get out and about even if just for a few minutes as a leg-stretcher we went for a walk in St...
