THREE PEAKS CHARITY CHALLENGE - PRESENTATION OF CHEQUE

A small addition to this walk is a few photo's when we presented the cheque to the Donna Louise Trust (http://WWW.DONNALOUISETRUST.ORG), the actual final sum was £2087 which was worth the hard work of the 12 hour walk. An interesting statistic from the representative was that the money from the gove...

Re: A Langdale loop ‘The magnificent 7’

There's no way through now, have a dvd with the great Eric Robson and he says there used to be a way through, I suppose that stuff has been washed down into that area, take care, Sue :)

Hi Paul, looked out a photo of me at the top of the Bad Step on Crinkle Crags, we were going the opposite way to you so the summit or Long Top was next, hubby went around :)

Re: SNOWDON via Watkin Path

The top scree is hard going as you say but the fact the crowds go the other routes makes it worthwhile. The dip in the water started off sensibly but you know how it goes, other photos have benn omitted to protect the innocent and preserve dignity at our age.

Re: SNOWDON via Watkin Path

Hi Tortoise, yes it was fab, as I said it was quieter our way but the sun certainly brings out the folk, did Siabod with hubby in the winter, its a big lump. Thanks Garry, we have done two of them, not Whernside, we will just pace ourselves, its a great cause though. Looking forward to it now :)
