Re: Where's the picture ? - Scotland (part 3)

bonny glen, Tolmount looks a fine hill from that side, hardly a bump from the other side.

Which Munro is the highest point in this photo?

Re: When is enough... enough?

Seems there is a list for every hill eh... I guess we will all chase our own rainbow... 8)

This site is brilliant for the lists, a myriad of info, and great for mapping..

Re: Stiles on Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers

Enjoy your day james. Dont pick a very cold day or if there has been snow to low level, the road up is not treated and can be tricky... Mind you they have felled all the trees so there are lots of new places to park further down toward the loch.

Been up there a couple of times recently, there are no stiles, just gates at either end of the nature reserve. :D

Re: Must do hills in Angus/Aberdeenshire

Some good walks already mentioned.... One other I could punt for is Ben Tirran, the highest point in a super area, you can make that day as long or short as you want, but the circuit around Loch Brandy and Loch wharral is a peach....

Re: another 'what hills can you see from this hill' thread

Some times its not the Munros that are the best viewpoints, some strategically placed hills in scotland give amazing views. In my opinion the you can see more hills from the Graham, Stob na Cruiche than any other I have come across. Could say the same about the Corbett Meall nan Tairneachan. Even sm...
