I've a couple of older garmin GPS devices that I never use, I'll dig em out, you can have one if you want, no probs.

Why handheld, out of interest?.

Used it for years, mainly for ME stuff, but some Ronhill bargains too, good site.

No chastising, I'd tend to agree re Sauchiehall St, but we can't base our laws on a few streets in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

No material will ever achieve anything with this, it's sandwiched between your back and the pack, there is no way any moisture can escape, apart from minimal amounts around the edge of said 'sandwich'.
