Re: Mostly downhill on the Correen Hills

Hi denfinella, Thanks - it was pretty nippy! I tried to capture a couple of the snow devils on camera, but they didn't really show up in the images. You're right that this ridge 9and indeed some of the other hills hereabouts) are underrated - but I would say that as I'm fortunate enough to live at t...

Mostly downhill on the Correen Hills

On a day when a bitter cold northerly wind was bringing heavy snow showers, a day out on the hills close to home seemed a better bet than travelling. I was dropped off at the summit of the Suie Road at NJ 547230 where a forest track leads west towards the high ground of the Correen Hills. There's go...

Re: Problem posting replies in topics

Hi Paul, Well, I've fixed my issue but still not why the problem occurred..... Another clear out of the cookies on both Firefox and IE didn't work, and a good scout around the firewall permissions for the wireless network I'm currently using didn't show up a script for the WH site at all. Nothing un...

Re: Problem posting replies in topics

Hi Paul, Update on this issue. I'm still unable to post or to reply on the Walks in Scotland sub-forum (but OK on all other sub-forums as far as I can see) from my laptop. I tried a different browser with no joy, and have just re-tried from a smartphone. When I put in the reply on the smartphone, fo...

Re: Problem posting replies in topics

Hi Paul, Same problem when using my default browser (Firefox) and when using IE, but bizarrely it seems only for that sub-forum as I can reply fine here with Firefox. As soon as I try to reply I'm redirected, can log in fine and the process repeats. I'm not able to use another computer at the moment...

Re: Problem posting replies in topics

Hi Paul, An update: I can reply to posts in this sub-forum, but not in the "Walk Report Scotland" sub-forum. Whenever I try to reply I'm logged out of the site and get the prompt that I need to log in. Logging in then returns me to the forum and the process repeats. Confused.com! Kind Rega...

Re: Problem posting replies in topics

Hi All, Strange this; I cleared cookies from my PC then tried again with the same result. I am going through a Wireless connection away from home, but am having no problems posting into a couple of other web fora using the same or very similar hosting programs. Came back to this topic and it seems I...
