Re: Information on wheelchair walks?

Hi Scoot

Both Crombie and Monikie Country Parks have wheelchair accessible paths. As does the Hermitage near Dunkeld. The following sites may also be of interest:

Re: Fisherfields with a dog?

Oh meh goad! That's a lot of information for my little head :-? But thanks! We're planning to wild camp where the WH route description suggested and tackle the round clockwise from there the next day, so finishing on RSM. Another consideration for taking/not taking Corrie is the weight we'...

Re: Fisherfields with a dog?

Thanks Monty. I'm going with a friend but you'd be very welcome to tag along if you're free - last week in June, weather permitting. Not sure you'll be able to keep up with us though

Re: Fisherfields with a dog?

Thanks all for your comments. I'm hoping to do the round – weather and fitness permitting – so may leave Corrie at home to be on the safe side. She’ll be miffed though!

Fisherfields with a dog?

Has anyone climbed the Fisherfields with a dog? From the description I'm now worried about losing Corrie girl in a bog!

Re: Mutts on Munros

Thanks Electricfly. Your dogs look great! Did they manage the pinnacles on An Teallach? Bit too scrambley for Corrie girl so haven’t been back to do this one with her. One of my favourite mountains though :)

Re: Hadrian's Wall Path in five days, East to West

Hadrian's Wall Path: 86 miles On the way back to the pub where I was staying a guy shouted across to me from another, ‘Fancy a drink? Buy one get one free’. No thanks. I think they must have been doing the same deal where I was staying. An opportunity missed Janet. You could have been well in there...

Re: Summer Meet, August 10th-12th

Hi Dougie You may remember me from Stu's do last year with big gulamphing Corrie dog in tow. Janet suggested I come along to this meet in August if that's ok? May stay with friends, try to find a dog friendly B&B or possibly pitch a tent, weather permitting. Janet - I'd be up for doing the Lair...

lurker no more

I've been lurking for a while so thought it was time to say hi. So, hi!

Love this site. Lots of useful info, interesting reports and fantastic photos. Hoping to join the August meet so may see some of you then if not on a hill somewhere before.

Happy walking/wandering/climbing all :D
