Great effort and a big well done! :clap: A guy I used to work with done Mera Peak about the same time as you. He was in the other group with Jagged Globe that had to evacuate two people. :thumbdown: Fortunately he managed to summit as well :thumbup:

I work offshore so with a 2 week on and 3 week off rota there is no need to take a sickie! :thumbup: Also,if I did, I don't get paid for the first 7 days. :thumbdown: A back to work medical is required as well with flights to organise etc back to the rig.

Rab Vapourise trousers are the way to go. Approx £50 to £60 a pair and I can't fault them. :thumbup:

Outstanding Annie! Great report and pics! :thumbup: This was my wifes first Munro and it's where I proposed to her as well! :lol: Since then she has caught the bug as well. She loved Bla Bheinn so much that she named our house after it! :wink:
