Re: How Low Are U Willing To Go With Water Quality When Camp

Next day I went to get more water but now in daylight I saw that the pool where I had got the water w...

Re: How many kendal mint cakes in 1 day
Snickers bars are a good source of both quick and slow release energy. Unfortunately in Winter they tend to freeze unless kept close to the body and can be like trying to chew a brick.

Re: How many kendal mint cakes in 1 day
Far too sweet for me these days and it's effects are transient. Better off with energy bars, gels or flapjacks.

Re: Bothy etiquette during covid
We can growl and grumble at the new breed but that doesn't solve anything . No indeed. Chopping off heads, impaling them on spears and staking them on prominant landmarks, hills, etc., that solves things. heads on spikes.jpg A fine depiction Lord C, though the foremost stick appears to be an Assega...

Indeed. I'm on the beach at Barmouth.

Thanks. Barmouth came to mind initially, but I hedged my bets a little.

If your objective is to confuse me just post a picture clue. Even with your list I remain flummoxed.

Re: Where's the pic England v5
No answers yet, but I'm slightly confused myself! I think the photo was taken from a different spot than I'd initially thought. It's from the summit of a non-Wainwright Birkett. The mountain in the centre is Grasmoor... I had Grasmoor, but couldn't work out the viewpoint. I'm too idle to get the ma...

Re: The Scottish mountains really must do better.....
In fairness to the Arthur's Seat reviewers I reckon it would benefit from taking a leaf out of Vesuvius' book and selling cheap local plonk at the top. Just have to figure out how to grow grapes in Scotland. Grapes are grown in Scotland, mainly under glass, but some outdoors. Attempts at wine makin...
