Latrigg has the potential to be the easiest by far if you drive up to the car park...good for a view although maybe not to tick it off...they could always dump you at the bottom and drive up and you meet them up there for some great views Otherwise Loughrigg is a nice walk from Rydal especially if y...

I did this in Feb last year on the way back from Cornwall and similar experience although sleet and snow straight into my face...a very creepy place when walking by yourself and def requiring back to basics nav It was really a nice feeling when you came out of the clag...it just has a heavy feeling ...

I personally find the combination of searching by hill then looking at most liked as teh best way as I tend to be more focussed than just skimming all...in addition...a couple of years on the site has enabled me to follow a few people whose reports I find particularly interesting like Phooey in the ...
