what about looking at alpkit's drybag rucksacks alpkit.com they do a 20l drybag rucksack and havy duty drybags with duffle-bag type straps in various sizes

I second that. Burn o' Vat is an amazing place and we've been there several times. not everyone wants to do epic walks and it's good to have a mix of everything to look at.

and can anyone advise on what is a safe weight for a child to carry? Our daughter is 12 and very slight, if we camp out she only takes a day sack and we carry the rest of the gear. but as she is now starting to grow a bit, she can probably manage more. although getting a well fitting rucksack for a ...
