After saying goodbye to mark and mike. Long drive to grey mares tail car park, coffee in Moffat on the way. Nice bright cold day. Up past waterfall, onlto summit, round and down just before dark

Fine Christmas Day walk on tired legs after
Leahanmore. Quite a few people about but we had the summit to ourselves.
Went o the beach at Falcarragh afterwards.

G walked with me to the top of the path to Gartan. Then on.my own til I met him by chance at the bottom of the Farscallop path. He had run down from the top of the Gleanveagh path. Recorded the walk on my GPS. Great day involving rough terrain, navigation in cloud, tired legs. Saw deer. Last walk up...

Muckish

Swift up and down the Moners Path with Geoff as a start to our Christmas holiday in Donegal. About an hour and a half. Nobody else about. Pathe more eroded every time. Breezy.

Gatehouse of Fleet

With G. Top in cloud. A nice change to have a path all the way. Around a big house/estate to start, up though confers and on to the open hill. Reminded me of Ben Vrackie. Saw a tree creeper and a heron. Memorial to airmen near the summit, eight crashes including one in 1979. It's a NNR
