Good stuff P. You seem to be ticking off the Lakeland Hewitts at a cracking rate.

Re: Plynlimon, Pen Pumlumon Arwystli still waiting!

Amazing - the rest of the country is baking in the sunshine and you pick the only hill with clag! Better luck next time.

Re: Mull of Galloway

Thanks. Yes, staying in a lighthouse is fun with a pleasing sense of remoteness once the daytrippers have gone home. We stayed at Stoer Head lighthouse near Lochinver a couple of years ago, though that seems to have dropped out of the National Trust for Scotland portfolio these days.

Mull of Galloway

Our first time in this part of the world so it was only fitting that we had a drive down to the most south-west bit. Adder

The trouble with adders is you often only spot them after you've nearly trodden on them, by which time they've usually slithered away before you get a chance for a photo. Last week we were walking the coast path between Isle of Whithorn and St Ninian's Cave and, true to form, nearly stumbled over on...

Re: Church Stretton Quintet gets the big 600

If you are descending northwards along the farm track from Heath Mynd you can drop down to cross the private area at approx 335955. It's no more than 100 yards across the stream and the estate drive to the gate opposit...

Re: Where's The Picture? - Wales (part 2)

Got there at last Clive :D A nice vantage point for such a small hill, with the Beacons on one side and the Black Mountains on the other. I'm starting to run out of suitable Welsh pics though. Your go.

Thanks, spokes. OK - here's one from back in July. From which small hill was this shot taken?
