Correct! Taken from a sublime autumn evening on Beinn Eibhinn a couple of years ago.

Re: Where's the picture ? - Scotland (part 3)

Another festive clue. The left hand summit is often ascended via a short scramble

Re: Kyle of Lochalsh to Spean Bridge?

Are you looking for accommodation to book or camping? Inchlahggan (I’m fairly certain having driven past enough times)is just a collection of houses.

Drifting wildly off topic. There must be one more Lachlan story. “Lachlan and the Ocihils Ptarmigan” had a nice ring to it..

Re: Asking for trouble

Given the (sadly missed) subversive editorial policy of The Angry Corrie , it wouldn't at all surprise me if that letter was, let's say, inauthentic. That's not to say that such attitudes don't exist, and persist. I well remember a vituperative article by none other than Richard Gilbert, to whom to...

I’m one off the “thrill seekers” mentioned.I indirectly know some of the others as well all of whom are/were well aware of the conduct needed for bike access on the hills. His rant starts on page 18 and then continues. https://arc...

Re: Asking for trouble

Re: Torridon to Morvich

Your 1st arrow is definitely fine, its a decent path (I was there the other week)

Never been on that path from Achnashellach, however it looks very clear in the aerial photography and these old paths tend to avoid problematic feastures. How were you planning crossing the river?
