Re: Mount Keen

Great report and pics. Done this hike a couple of times now, and yes the summit can be very deceiving!! Nearly there now.....actually no still got a bit to walk! :-) I think the Queens Well in the middle of the Glen is somewhat unusual and amazing. I like also how Keen is the most easterly Munro and...

Re: Ben Vorich/Stuc a Chroin 2009

Cheers Chris! My mate in the scrambling break picture was not keen to scramble up, being on his first hike, but he did it and like me was a very happy man for the rest of the day! :-)

Re: Ben Vorich/Stuc a Chroin 2009

Cheers! No we didn't go back down the same way. We veered left to avoid the scramble down. I would say it was straight forward but we had a nice dry day. There is a path to follow up through the rocks, but it did disappear at time!! (lol)

Ben Vorich/Stuc a Chroin 2009

Ben Vorlich/Stuc a Chroin This walk was done on a absolutely sunny April day back in 2009. Ben Vorlich was a good hard going walk, but it was Stuc a Chroin that stole my heart! I was taken by the sheer beauty of Stuc a Chroin as we continued on from Ben Vorlich. I had the best time ever scrambling u...

Glen Dessary

Glen Dessary A two day walk around the Glen Dessary area. The bad weather, and streams made foot conditions quite horrendous, and slowed our progress right down. However spending the night in the bothy was a great laugh with my mates. Would go back again, but avoid the glen and go to high grounds ne...
