ben challum

wed 31/12/08 after seeing the good forecast for hogmany i decided to climb this im glad i made the decision as it turned out to be my best walk yet. parking off the A82 opposite kirkton farm and heading for the kirkton cemetery over the railway it was a straightforward climb following the fence line...

the mamores are definetly on my list i remember being shown them from the top of ben nevis and they looked impressive.your views look good in these its a good feeling when you think your not going to get a view then it clears up like that.it makes it all wortwhile

for me the whole year was great.after having our first child at the end of 2007 i was limited by the wife to 1 walk a month so my realistic target was 12 munros for the year.i was dissapointed not to make the carn mairg circuit at the end of november due to the heavy snow we had so i decided to head...
