Saturday afternoon with Naomi, who had a cold. Weather was cold also. Decent walk though, not really boggy. largely on water board tracks.

Return to Am Bathach

After B&B (Grinian House), for Naomis birthday evening, climbed Am Bathach in high winds to get us level on Corbetts. Too windy to add Ciste Dubh. Rained alot. Then went home!

Not Moruisg and Sgurr nan Ceannaichean

Day 2 of Naomis birthday trip. Was going to do Moruisg and Sgurr nan Ceannaichean from Glen Carron. Plan veto-ed by deer fence and ended up walking round loch Sgamhain instead. Statistics are a guess. Later went to Applecross via bealach na ba (628m), then back to Torridon campsite (Applecross camps...

Beinn Allign

First day of Naomis birthday trip.
Started late (1.30pm), weather was not as nice as promised, did the two munros and returned over the first instead of taking in the horns. Rained a bit, views restricted and just got back before I required head torch. Camped at torridon campsite.

Re: most popular Munro to Compleat on

Maybe its too early but....while walking at the weekend I was considering how I'd like to finish, if it ever happens. The conclusion was to complete my final S2K Marilyn, Corbett and Munro in one day walk from Corrour to Rannoch station. At the time I was thinking it was a good idea, but was mistake...

Morrone in the gales

Followed part of WH route up Morrone with Naomi after camping in Glenshee overnight. Yesterday was windy but this day was worse! Made it though. Then went home to play final of mens doubles in club championships.

Re: Carn a'Chlamain (part by bike)

Hi Blackpanther!

I did see a couple on the top....Shame we didn't get chatting as you would have been the first people I've knowingly met from this site in real life, and I've enjoyed reading many of your reports!

Carn a'Chlamain (part by bike)

I was not going to write a trip report for Carn a'Chlamain as there are many reports already in existence and there are tracks all the way up. However, having walked it I thought there were a few things I could add which others may find useful and that I didn't see in the non-exhaustive perusal of e...

Re: All hills filter

Alternatively the all hills map could have colour coded baloons for the different hill classifications (along with something to show that a hill has been climbed).

No idea if that's even possible but I think it would be a nice feature for those that like to do multiple types of hill in one walk!
