Gyrn Ddu & Bwlch Mawr, Traeth Penllech

A really mountainous feel in this walk for something topping out at 522m - plenty of ascent, sportingly steep paths up and down, and a scramble onto/off a very bouldery main peak. Atmospheric clouds and a bit of unforecast shower. gyrn_ddu.gpx DSCN0318.JPG DSCN0319.JPG DSCN0320.JPG DSCN0322.JPG DSCN...

Upper Littondale, Grass Wood

Damp morning in the wilder reaches of a lovely dale. The path above the north of Pen-y-ghent Gill is scenically good, but very rough and muddy going. foxup.gpx DSCN0107.JPG DSCN0111.JPG DSCN0114.JPG DSCN0121.JPG DSCN0123.JPG DSCN0127.JPG DSCN0129.JPG DSCN0135.JPG DSCN0139.JPG DSCN0146.JPG DSCN0147.J...

Sails & Wild Boar Fell

A long and hot hill-walk in the quiet western edges of the Yorkshire Dales.
