the North Shore Road at Loch Katrine is closed in between Stronachlachar and Portnellan. I knew nothing about this land slide (which happened in August 2019), until I arrived at the Trossachs Pier car park today and saw the sign there. As I'd made the effort to come up, I still cycled the 6 or so mi...

I'm already looking forward to doing Ben Stack at some point in time. The view towards Arkle and Foinaven beats the Alps any day!

Thanks litljortindan! I was a bit optimistic in thinking that 2 days of hot weather would be enough to dry out the bog....

It is a good route if you're not in a hurry. Still tough, but the weather was on my side and I had the whole afternoon to get back down.
