Re: The Cape Wrath trail part 3 Glendhu Bothy to Cape Wrath

Amazing report - read this on the train coming to work today, awesome!

Interesting point you make about your Asolo boots leaking. I have a pair of these and have never had an issue although some reviews on a website said they leaked. Their production must be a little 'hit and miss' I suspect...

Re: To the middle of nowhere and beyond - the Tarf Hotel trip

Great report John and some awesome pictures. Bearing in mind how bad the weather has been recently, I think we were really fortunate with the weather :)

Re: 3 Munros and the Tarf Hotel in November

Ok I just want to confirm that we are leaving the OBOT car park at 10am now? I intend to get there about 9:30ish. What type of cars will people be arriving in? I don't expect the car park to be 'rammed' but I don't want to make a complete 'plonker' of myself by approaching every person that arrives ...

Re: The Glenshee Four

There was only about three cars that passed me and not one of them stopped :( LOL @ Slacker - I think the weather coming in was just the excuse I needed to justify me not doing the other mountains but in reality I was knackered :) and whilst there was enough time to climb Carn Aosda and The Cairnwel...

The Glenshee Four

It was with huge reluctance that I dragged myself out of bed at 5am. I am unsure if this was due to the dark and cold morning or the fact that my days hiking was going to be some of the Munro’s in the vicinity of the Glenshee ski centre. My spirits soon lifted as I drove north up the A93 and watched...

Re: 3 Munros and the Tarf Hotel in November

Hi Chaps,

Any chance I could tag along on this weekend trip? Bit of a newcomer to this forum and I have not climbed any of the Munro's in that area. Sounds like an amazing weekend planned.

Cheers

Darren

Re: Best Kit shop online?

http://www.gaynors.co.uk or http://www.facewest.co.uk Both discount stuff and have wide range of diffenrent range. I have ordered stuff from both and found them very reliable. I have to agree with both these suggestions, especially FaceWest. It is not just about price in my opinion. How good is the...
