Ben Lawers

Done this walk from the NTS car park. My walking companions were Alan and Lex. At the start of the walk it was cloudy as time passed it burnt off. This was a most enjoyable walk. :D

Re: Ben ledi

Great day out. Sun was very stong, good job we had sunscreen on. Remember when your on the hills you are more exposed to the elements. We tend to to forget this.

Re: Ben ledi

Cheers Alan. It is a good walk with a great view from the summit. jade liked this hill better than Ben Lomond. Though it was a nice sunny day, you still had to watch out for the leg grabbing Bog!

Re: Pentlands Circuit (Allermuir, Caerketton, Hillend)

The Pentlands are great little hills and vastly underated. The views are always good and you can feel the stress falling off you. For a location in such a busy area the feeling of peace is fantastic. :D Always go there when I need a quick outdoor fix.

Walked this hill with my daughter Jade. Climb to the summit took 2 hours. Spent 1 hour on the top and descent took 1-30 mins. This was our first Corbett. :D :D
