Kin tell you, this is one of the best

So the third day of my summer of leave and the weather was playing ball for us to tackle The Five Sister's. Had crossed over the night before from the east to camp at The Glenshiel campsite and awaited Jim's arrival from Paisley. We got up early, had breakfast, dropped his car at the shop (probably t...

Meall Chuaich by bike

Day 2 of my Great Escape Stayed overnight at Invernahavon Caravan Park. Got up early enough to pack my tent up before the rain came on too heavy and headed for the start of the walk along the A9. It was dry by the time I got there which was good because I could get time to set my bike up without get...

Re: Avuenavichveg

For some reason some of the text is missing.
On the way down I saw a Hen Harrier, dozens of Mountain Hare and finally two Golden Eagles.
Turned into a nice walk and in no way boring.
Once down I headed off to find a campsite for the night.

I first attempted this walk with Gammy,Polly and Alan in my early day...

Walks with wheelchair access.

My wife is waiting for a double hip op and frequently we travel around the country taking in the sites and visiting as many new places as possible but I do find it difficult to take her beyond a main street wherever we go. So looking for recommendations of beauty walks we can go with her in the chai...

The Aonach Eagach at last.

Oh I've waited years to write this report. Ever since I started hillwalking this route has been the one. The one everyone talks about. The one we looked up to on the way down the A82. The one we always said, weather not right. The one we feared. With a group meeting with some fellow Walkhiglanders a...
