Really sorry to hear this Mark - I think I've found your error in the logs. If so, it was to do with your post being alot longer than what I had done in testing - doh! - if that was the problem then it'll now be fixed so you could try reposting. On the morning on 27th September, we moved over to a new server and new software.

If you are reading this message, then you are now using our new server and should be able to post walk reports etc. as normal. The update was complete at 3.55am (BST)

The Walkhighlands app shows your current position on the map - it doesn't record or store your position data in any way. So there is nothing to pause - the app is only doing something when you actually have it open on your screen, which means it uses much less battery. If you wanting to create data ...

It sounds like you have given the permission for the app to use network location but not gps location.

Go to settings -> location -> chrome and ensure that “use precise location” is turned on.

They stay in the outbox until the recipient opens them.
