Nice report Fi. I climbed this one a couple of months back and took the same "path" as you up the fence line by the looks of it. It was my second attempt as I had to turn back in deep snow the first time!

That's a great report BC. So well written and giving such a nice feel for that area. It took me 4 trips over 4 days to climb all these beautiful hills, and no I didn't go through the needle on Ben Arthur! I am going wild camping this summer for the first time. I hope I have a trip like yours

Smiffy - truth be told I am also from Dunoon. Haven't been back for over 10 years though as my family moved away. I left for the big smoke (Glasgow) in 1987 and never really looked back. Found memories of a childhood in a great wee town though

What a day you had there JW. Goats, ptarmigans, golden eagles and giant viennetta's!! Plus of course the stunning views too and cloud inversion. If Carlsberg did hill walking....

Loved the report del. how was the scramble back down from the rocky summit. I would be feart of getting stuck at the top!
