looking to walk this route at the weekend with a camp at the steal falls, just wondering if there is any tricky river crossings that I need to watch out for, as the wife is coming as well

"the wife is coming as well"
   ing aside, if she's not used to remote bog walks, this may not be the route to take her on. It's not the river crossings, it's the climbing up and down peat hags and jumping over bogs. I posted in that topic jmarkb links to, and there's a walk report I submitted somewhere as well.

If you are crossing the Abhairn Rath at Luibeilt then expect to get wet feet even in summer.

If you are walking from Corrour you can cross the Abhainn Rath on the bridge at Creaguaineach Lodge (NN 309 689).

There is also stepping stones at Staoineag Bothy but they could be under water like they were last month when I was there. :?

All the best it's a great area. :D
