After le WHW, should de do Great Gland or Affric Kintail ?

Hello to you all,
We'll bé on Fort William tomorrow After 7 days on the West highlandWay. We would like to continue and have 3 options :
- Great Glen Way
- take a bus to Morvich ans to Affric Kintail Way
- to half if the Ggw ans half if the Akw with thé Cape Wrathe trail junction.

Any advices ? Generally WE préférence wildnerness to busy routes. If you have an advices let us Knox along with your criteria. We'll report our long walk when donne !

The Affric/Kintail will be much quieter and go through much more remote country than the Great Glen, which follows a very large valley with roads in it (though is still nice and not too near the roads for most of the time).

I found the Great Glen Way a real let down, especially compared to the WHW. It's either walking along the canal or walking through forest roads, often with no views.

I'd go Affric if I were you.

Definitely Affric Kintail. Morvich is beautiful and you walk through some wild and remote countryside. A lot of the Great Glen way is close to towns and on roads. The campsite at Morvich has great facilities too.

Thanks to you all for your comments. Décision is now made : we'll take the bus to Fort Augustus. Then walk thé 2 stages of the high route of GGW to Drumnarochit, then do the AKW, and (After a stop AT the campsite), take the bus from Morvich to Inverness. This will leave us with 1 d'au un Inverness ans 3 days on Edinburgh.

The pictures of Skye look great... Another Time maybe !
