Can anyone help the BBC with this request for keen campers/off grid backpackers for new series?

Fear you may be right. I'm a long term BBC fan and listener and their chasing after ratings seems misguided for a public service broadcaster. Agree they need a dose of commercial reality in their thinking, but not at the risk of alienating their key constituency of listeners.
And while we're about it, having just qualified for a free licence they're going to take it away. ☹ Boo! Hiss!

Well, I'm in. For the scenery, obviously.
