So how busy was it?

Corriehallie and the car park for the Western Fannaichs were both mobbed when I passed them yesterday. I'm guessing a lot of people need to tick off the Fisherfield munros and this has probably been the best weekend for it since things opened up. Ben Wyvis mobbed as per but "overflow car parks" were more or less empty. That was later in the day though.

Arrived at the car park at 8am just off the A835 to do the Sgùrr nan Clach Geala 3 on Saturday morning. We got the last 2 'spaces'. Only passed 4 others all day.

Loch Turret car park surprisingly busy (about 6 cars) on Friday. Saw one farmer, one runner and one couple whilst doing our round of Auchnafree Hill

Beinn Odhar Bheag on 23rd April only a van in the layby but didn't see anyone on the hill. Van still there on return.

May 15th empty Talisker Bay car park in the morning and no-one else on Preshal More or Preshal Beg but car park full on return.

Glenfinnan on saturday 15th May. Arrived 7am NTS car park empty. £3.50 fee, no change given from £4 and not accepting cards just now. The new car park (community run) is now open next door it has a lockable gate and states locked between 10 am and 7 am, it is £3.50 also. Both car parks have signs saying no overnighters. There is a new path and bridge between both carparks and the viaduct avoiding the main road. I was on SgurrThuilm and Corrachan and very quiet. I reckon less than double figures.

Quiet for munros on a saturday.

On return around 1400 the NTS car park had a few spaces free but the new car park was less than quarter full I would say.
