13km of single track road - so 20-25 minutes?

It's half an hour to the Monar dam so 20 minutes sounds about right. Haven't done it myself but I've heard good things about the northern approach to these. Still a fair drive down Strathconnon but looks like it makes a more natural horseshoe route, i.e no road walk at the end. Plus it saves you the hassle of waiting in a convoy for somebody to open a gate...

I did it a few years ago and doubled up on cars with another walker leaving their car at the end of the road. . Saved the long walk out?

I did these last year. I drove up to the far end to leave my bike before returning to the starting point car park. I think it was just over an hour all told. The bike saves a (very) long slog out at the end, it seemed to take forever on the bike. I can only imagine walking it would feel soul destroying after a long day in the hills. I am not sure of your pace, but bear in mind you have to be out before they lock the gate
