In June I’m staying for a couple of nights at the Morar Hotel, and really want to do a walk that explores that fabulous coastline from Morar to Arisaig. The obvious thing seems to be to take the 10.17 train from Morar down to Arisaig, and then walk back.
For a lot of the way, the old single track road looks fine, close to the beaches for exploring and photos. But at Camusdarach, first of all it’s not clear if I can cut across rather than continue to the car park. Secondly, the road then looks a bit dangerous - even though it’s designated as a “B” road, it goes to a “proper” two-way road and I can’t see options for walking away from the road.
Has anyone tried this walk? Can they advise?
Or are there other must-do walks from Morar?
