An Teallach Tops

An Teallach Tops

Postby Andy Milne » Mon May 17, 2021 1:05 pm

I am looking to do An Teallach in a couple of months time, but I want to 'do' the tops as well as both Munros.

How easy / difficult are the tops around Lord Berkleys seat to get up to and down from?, as these 2 look as though they would be the most difficult (on the map anyway)

Is this something easier done with a guide (and thus any kit needed)?, and if so any recommendations?

Thanks

You should probably read up about all the different options for the Corrag Bhuidhe section and decide how much scrambling you want to do! If you take the easier lower bypass path (going S to N) then you may need to backtrack a bit to access Corrag Buidhe from its N side, and then go over Lord Berkeley's Seat - there is still some scrambling involved but it is fairly easy compared to the route over the crest.
