Wild camp Rothiemurkus?

Hi guys, I'm heading up to Aviemore tomorrow evening but bus won't arrive until after 8pm. Just wondering if anyone knows a handy spot a few miles out towards Braeriach? Planning to do the traverse Friday before a camp near Corrour. I'm sure I would find somewhere but thought I'd pick the brains of those of knowledge first. While I am able to put up my tent in the dark I'd prefer not to. Thanks.

There's a nice spot by the river about 200-300m after the Cairngorm Club Footbridge. Please don't light any fires though, I cleared up a couple of pits on my last visit.

It would mean a different approach, but if you take the path towards Loch Eanaich and camp somewhere at or before the fork at NH924019, you'd be a little higher and out of the trees, so it could well be cooler. Not sure about what the path up to Braerich is like from there, but there's one on the map...

WWW's suggestion would be perfect for the approach to the hills via the Lairig. River nearby to use.
I passed by the location a couple of days ago on my bike...no-one using the space at the time.
I always think of the old Drovers heading South with Cattle laying up for the night between here and what is now the Bridge.
And from there you are five minutes walk away from the path to the Lairig at Piccadilly. Rothiemurchus.
