Depends on your navigation skills, experience, and willingness to walk in the clouds. Its one of the easiest of the Cuillin hills, but that still makes it harder than many (most?) mainland hills.
As for the thunder, I wouldn't be going near the mountains if there's a chance of lightning, especially not somewhere as exposed as the Cuillin.
Looking at the MWIS forecasts, its not a particularly good day I'm afraid. However, you might get lucky with the odd break.
Also the Met Office, though Skye doesn't always follow the full NW Highlands pattern
