There are much more scenic bits through the East Neuk fishing villages, indeed North from Cambo might have beemore interesting and avoided the statics Still, loads to do another time.

I'd like to second what walkerali says. I live locally, and don't even check for tidal times any more - when I get to the bit that may be flooded at high tide, and it turns out to be under water, I just climb that steep slope, cross some fences and bypass that bit of the coastal path. It's all part of the adventure!

If you're planning to walk a longer stretch of the coastal path as part of a long-distance venture, you might just like to keep an eye on the tidal movements.
