Cat is masculine but kitten - piseag - would be feminine.

It's interesting (to me if no one else). If I was talking about being on the slopes of Am Bodach I would have no choice but to treat it as masculine when naming the mountain.

However if someone asked me - is Am Bodach a beautiful mountain? it would also be fine to say 'S e beinn bhrèagha a th' innte - it's a beautiful mountain that's in her (super grammatically correct would be 'S i but nobody says that).
