Balsporran railway crossing

Hi all , what’s the latest with the crossing at Balsporran please ?
Heading there on Friday and hoping all is well with crossing the railway line

No issues with this crossing, it's the Dalwhinnie crossing Network Rail have closed.

While nothing has been done about it so far, Network Rails position on the Balsporran crossing is the same as the Dalwhinnie crossing.

It's a private crossing, and my understanding is that Network Rail believe there is no public right to cross, which means a very long detour through pathless bog is needed. They rate the crossing as 'C' which is Very High Risk for individuals.

But the gates at Balsporran are not (yet) locked - though it's much less likely to be a historic right of way than Dalwhinnie.

Thanks I had it down as that crossing
Closing any crossing is bound to cause some sort of friction
