Don't know them by sight but happen to know the 2 Scottish locations they were filming in, and as that isn't the Cruachan horseshoe it must be Glen Tilt.

Do I get a point for knowing it from being a Star Wars nerd rather than a Munro Compleatist? :D

The opening shot looks like the Pass of Brander shot from part way up the Cruachan Dam access road but with added CGI mountains in the background.

You've both got it. I knew the locations because of friends and ourselves out walking and met security for the filming.

Cruchan + Pass of Brander (with CGI) for big mountains.
Tilt is the trees and camp.

It's cool that Scotland has become such a popular filming location, I also read that they did a lot of filming inside the Cruachan Dam for Andor.

Sure I'm missing a few but World War Z, The Batman and Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw all filmed in Glasgow and Avengers: Infinity War and Fast & Furious 8 in Edinburgh over the last few years.

Pretty sure the Amazon LOTR show is supposed to be doing filming for its second season in Scotland too. Seems a bit bizarre to represent Middle Earth through New Zealand in the first season and then represent the same place through Scotland in the second but there we are.

Sat happily for an hour watching a body "leap" (i.e. dummy pushed") from St. Andrews Castle. Most of The Distant Echo a crime thriller by Val McDiarmid is set in St. Andrews. What about Outlander? Loads of venues.

And of course Game of Thrones, Batman...

Let's not forget there's older films too.

The holy grail for a start...
