I'd recommend Armadale Castle and gardens - the castle is a ruin but the gardens and museum are excellent. Dunvegan Castle is very popular and has good gardens though some think it a little overpriced. The Museum of Island Life near Kilmuir is also worth a visit.
Generally the scenery is Skye's greatest attraction. I'd highly recommend either of the boat trips from Elgol which head to Loch Coruisk - in fine weather this is a great experience. Many of the boat trips all around the island are excellent and give good opportunities to see wildlife. If you like traditional music it's worth trying to take in a concert - perhaps at the Aros centre.

If you don't mind short walks, there are plenty of good ones on this site. Particularly popular are the Coral Beaches (region 2), a walk up to the Old Man of Storr (region 1) and Kylerhea otter haven (region 5) although all the grade 1 walks should be well within most peoples capabilities.
Just off Skye, Plockton is well worth a visit - one of the prettiest villages in the Highlands, and Eilean Donan Castle is close enough to it to be visited on the same day.[/url]
