Ossion Youth Hostel on the shore's of Loch Ossion. Photo taken after the completion of my second round of Munro's
Light adjustment.
taken on the 8.9.2012
When I completed my first round of the Munro's I put pen to paper and wrote this poem.

From North to South, from East to West,
I walk in the Mountains I love best,
Through rain and snow I've battled on,
But when the Midges came I was gone.
So off to the Alps I did go,
To see there Mountains in awesome mood,
but back to Scotland to the land of mist,
To walk in the mountains on Munro's list.

Shelby, thanks for putting this one up. This is without doubt my favourite area and is so scenic and photographable (it's a real word...honest!). I've got bundles of pics with the best ones always from early morning or late afternoon :-)

Right, here goes. No doubt I'll post this without putting the picture on but, oh well! :?
The Lairig Ghru, looking south, from Sron na Lairige (just below Braeriach). Loads of munroes in this picture. It doesn't however do justice to what I saw with my own peepers. I think this just qualifies as it was on the 15th of September (Saturday) about 11am.
Taken with a Sony DSC390. Editing? Me? Don't make me laugh

On the way up to High Craigeazle and Millfore Hill, Galloway, the centre of forest road had many seedling spruces growing, I couldn't resist getting down and trying to get a picture. 15 September 2012.
