Missing Skye Guide

Missing Skye Guide

Postby Louise » Sat Dec 29, 2012 5:28 pm

Although not named in the BBC report, in another report in the Herald the missing walker is my good friend Graham Patterson of Skyhi, who many of you may know also.

May the angels be with him and his family until he is found safe and well.

My thoughts are with his family and friends. I've been hoping to hear a good outcome from this since reading about it the other day.

That's terrible news. We had the best walking week of our lives with him earlier this year - he seemed indestructable and will be very sadly missed. A terrific guide and a great man. The photos from that trip will be bitter sweet now

My thoughts are with Annie, Louise and the climbing community on Skye.

We met him in the Carbost Inn, while we were celebrating me doing the In Pinn and he was so friendly and joined in our celebrations. It's such a sad loss but I guess at least he died doing what he loved.

:( :( :( :( :( :( Why oh why did it have to happen of all people to Graham :( :( :( :( You could not have asked for a better human being than Graham. His sence of humour , his atitude, and his services to the community was 2nd to none. He guided me not once but twice in doing all the cullins in 2011 and he was more than Brilliant he was a rare find for me..May his soul rip and will be thinking of his family and specially Annie :( :( :( :(
