Munro Round

Thanks everyone!

Scoob and Rodmeister - yeah please :)

Electricfly - I thought about kayaking across and it would have been good but I've no kayaking experience (let alone open water) and if I got someone to take me it might get a little expensive. So the boat will do fine. Maybe next time, though! ;)

Good luck Kevin.
I will follow you on facebook and maybe see if I can come and walk with you some time. It would certainly help me improve my fitness, to walk with such an ambitious walker.

Hats off to you. Hope you have no set backs and make plenty of money for charity.
And enjoy the round of course!

Best of luck with your Munro walk . I think it's all about the weather . I have been hoping to do the same for a long time . Still the mortgage is finished in four months and all the weans are away from home ! Maybe next year . All the best

I walked with Kevin in Glen Etive yesterday and pleased to report that he is on schedule after the first full week of his round despite the fact that he spent the first six days getting drenched in miserable weather with no summit views at all so far :? I took pity on him and brought the poor soul some sunshine
He was off to do the Aonach Eagach ridge this morning before the bad weather returned 8)

Hi,

Kev is now well into his 20's tally of munros climbed and despite the horrendous weather conditions endured over the last week and half he's still in very high spirits. His cause is for Diabetes UK you can track is progress and daily blogs on his website www.kevinwoods.co.uk

He'd appreciate all your support of whatever nature whether it'd be comments of support, donation to a worthy cause or just simply accompanying him on his 100 Day Munro Challenge.

Thanks for that - have found his blog as a result, and it is a cracking read.

Have dropped him an email - but I just hope the weather picks up for him, the forecast doesn't look great for the next few days.

Hey Kevin, good progress so far, enjoying following on Facebook. Just been reading your website and it says you are doing a self propelled round, but then I see on FB you back home for a night and getting driven to the buachailles etc. maybe I missed something... Have you changed the mission?
