I was looking for a beck that had that distinctive kink to the right at the valley head - think you have got it with Riggindale

Well done Fedup. This was my sons first outing with me when aged 13 in 2007. He only did one more before returning to hibernate in his bedroom with his X box. Some of today's kids have lost that sense of adventure. Your go.

Have you bought him the Kinect thing ? From what I've heard you may never see your kids again (until they want food, money or a lift! - in no particular order).

She got an abusive/agressive reply to a fairly innocent comment she made on one of my walk reports http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8824. I presume this is why MC hasn't posted anything since - seems a bit of a shame.

Having read the thread I assume it's been removed. Humorous banter and mild mickey taking I'll go with but pure abuse and malicious comment has no place here. If folk want to do that let em post on the Daily mail site. Plenty of scope for their vitriol there. So If you are reading this M.C. come back we miss your pics.
Any way the Pic?
Haven't a clue as yet a bit more studying needed yet and why do I keep thinking every distant mountain looks like Skiddaw!!!!
Ha. Just read threya's post. that must be because it probably is Skiddaw DOH. Keep trying threya I ain't going to spoil your glory by outguessing you when you are so close.

It looks like it's looking towards Dash Falls in the distance but is further away than I said. Looks like it's actually under Great Calva (right) and Skiddaw (left)?

Thought this would in 30 secs after Freya narrowed it down.

I'm sure that there is only 3 approaches to back of skiddw ?

Threya mentioned 1 so still 2 to go......

You said wrong end of track but it still looks like you're heading towards Dash Falls.

Actually, having a second look there's something spiky in the background which could be Skiddaw Little Man and you could be in between Bowscale Fell and Knott?

I hope the individual who made the abusive/aggresive reply has been banned from the site. As has been said already, light-hearted banter or healthy debate is fine, but there's no need for abusive comments. I hope MC comes back soon.

And so back to the photographs, where once again someone pips me to it ... :D :(
