Hmmmm. think I'm going for Yr Aran on that one from somewhere climbing up the south-western side of Snowdon perhaps?

If not, maybe Moelwyn Mawr from the ridge past Cnicht? but more like the first guess I think...

You were correct with the first guess.

It's from Llechog, before you start to climb up towards Bwlch Main and those ugly fences.

If the cloud wasn't there, Moelwyn Mawr would probably be in the background too.

Hmmm - you might have to wait a day or so before you get a pic as I'm off out tonight when I get home from work so won't be going online at home (unless I feel insomnic when I get in) and I don't have any Welsh pics on my work's PC

At very first glance, it looks a bit like when you come round off Carnedd Dafydd and towards Pen Yr Olau Wen?

Well I've only had one go so far... usually, if you're not called 'Mountainstar' anyway, it takes most people more than 1 go!

It could possibly be Bwlch y Saethau going towards Y Lliwedd? It's hard to tell what peak is hiding in that cloud really as most of the shape is hidden...
