Stiles on Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and need some advice from you guys.

I normally take my dog ( a golden retriever) with me on the hills, so far I've been able to get her over/around most stiles but I've been told there are tall deer stiles on Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers.

Can anyone confirm this and if there are any "dog gates"? I dont fancy trying to lift a 5 stone retriever over a deer stile..

any guidance appreciated, i'd hate to waste a 3 hour drive to turn home at first stile.. thanks

Been up there a couple of times recently, there are no stiles, just gates at either end of the nature reserve. :D

If you're going from the old visitor centre then you're all good :) they have proper gates.

Enjoy your day james. Dont pick a very cold day or if there has been snow to low level, the road up is not treated and can be tricky... Mind you they have felled all the trees so there are lots of new places to park further down toward the loch.

No not a fun road at all when it's icy! My car went sideways barely 100m off the main road when I was going up at the start of the month. Ended up abandoning it and walking the full way. Didn't add too much onto the day :D
