Hi all, one of my favourite resting spots is the memorial bench to JACK AND MAMIE CRAWLEY at the picnic spot overlooking the A83 and the Cobbler. it is on the forest road near top before you turn left for Donich. does anyone know who Jack and Mamie were as i often think of them as i sit having my coffee, in not then thanks to them and their family for a lovely spot and memory. cheers. Eddie Devlin, the Wanderer and Wonderer.

It is me again, I have not any replies about Jack and Mamie Crawley but have to report that the bench seat
has fallen to bits and been removed by the forestry folk. So farewell Jack and Mamie and thank you for
the rests that I had on that seat.
