Hi cammy

Why not try the Red Squirrel campsite at the west end of Glencoe, a little pricey for what you get but always a good atmosphere.
As regards to hills Buchaille etive mor (Stob Dearg) is the obvious option. A classic Scottish mountain, not to hard, great views and easy to find ..... you really cant miss it !

Hope you both have a great time what ever you decide.

Take your pick from any of the four B's (2 Buachailles, Bidean and Beinn Bheithir).

Buachaille Etive Beag is the easiest of these: maybe a good one to start with?

The Red Squirrel will be midgy hell at this time of year - go prepared!

At least they allow fires so you can smoke the b******s out!

Enjoy Glen Coe. jmarkbs ideas pretty well cover it. Haven't done Bidean but enjoyed the other three immensely! The Big Buachaille probably took the trophy though :D

The great thing about the Squirrel is that there's a building of cultural, architectural and historical interest within about a quarter of a mile....

A couple of alternatives for the camping site would be The caravan and Camping Club site about 1/2 mile south of Glencoe village access is via the Glencoe visitors centre and has excellent facilities. (Non members welcome but bring the midge repellent).
Also Invercoe camp site which is in Glencoe Village and gives access to pubs hotels spar type shops the site has good facilities and is right on the shores of the loch. About 20 minutes drive from here back to the munros.

The Red Squirrel is the only campsite within easy reach of the Clachaig if you want to walk rather than drive. We like it and there is always room somewhere, plus the lack of set pitches makes it feel a bit wilder than most campsites. Never had that much of an issue with midges tbh.
