Back in 1990, I was staying at Loch Ossian Youth Hostel. I met the gentleman who had been living at Lubnaclach at the time, but had to come to Loch Ossian as Lubnaclach had just burned down. He was lamenting its demise. I do not remember his name, but he was friendly with the then-warden at the hostel, Tom Rigg.
The Corrour estate has indicated that Lubnaclach will not be rebuilt. It was apparently in use by railway supervisors, then by estate workers.
