Marine's body found up Clova.

Marine's body found up Clova.

Postby man in black » Fri Nov 14, 2014 4:11 pm

Just read the tragic news that a young marine who went fell running up Loch Brandy area yesterday has been found dead. Thoughts with his family and friends.I was up there last week with my dog in misty conditions, not much of a challenge, but when the weather turns extreme as it has been , it just reminds us to take nothing for granted and not to under estimate any hill walk. :(

Very sad news. :( I always fear the worst when I read those words, "search being resumed this morning".

My thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends.

Many thanks and respect as usual to the hardworking search and rescue teams who attend these incidents. :(

Very good point electricfly. Massive respect to all MRT and civilians involved. Vital service to everyone who loves the hills. Horrible day for all involved. :(

Again, just echoing everyone else's thoughts and thanks to those who look out for us; and sending love and light to his family and all those who knew and loved him.

'And there but for the grace of god go I'.
