hi everyone,
I will do the Skye trail beginning of May with a couple of friends.
We are experienced hikers and are used to rough trails, but we are not mountaineers.
We were thinking of doing a variation on the Skye trail.
From Sligachan, instead of going South direction Loch Cruisk / Elgol, we would go West direction Glennbrittle.
We would then like to traverse the Black Cuilin and descend towards Loch Cruisk to follow the Skye trail again from there.
Can someone give some advice on a possible route? Is it possible to do this? Again, we are experienced hikers who don't mind a bit of scrambling, but we are definitely not up to Alpine climbing with ropes etc.
Thanks a lot for your help!
cheers,
vins
