Hi,
Looking to do 3 Munros, starting and finishing at rannoch station. Happy to use a bike if useful and would like to wildcamp en route. Can't find a route that includes beinn na lap, sgor gaibhre and carn dearg from rannoch. Any help most gratefully received.

Hi Gordon,

Here is my WR from last year - http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=43633

Wasn't drawing routes at that time, but we did Beinn na Lap last, there is a path from the station that leads you west towards Carn Dearg
It is a great day out and the train journey is amazing 8)

No real reason other than wanting to make a weekend of it (one overnight camp on saturday) and not sure train times would really suit that.

Thanks for the link- looks like you had a great trip (shame about the connections mix up though). Think we'll maybe just go for the 3 from Corrour. I drew up a route from Rannoch which was coming in at around 26 miles which seemed fine over 2 days but I'm not sure about the terrain and have read a few conflicting reports from other sites from folk who have cycled in that area. Do you happen to know if you have to book the train in advance or can you just rock up?

Personally I would book, even if it is just a couple of days in advance, all can be done on-line
