Gorging / Canyoning

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any locations anywhere near Aberdeen that I could possibly visit at some point in the distant future?

I have never done this before so I imagine I would look in to doing it guided before considering doing it without a guide. I'm just curious if there are even many / any places close to the Aberdeen area (North, West / South) where this activity is possible.

I'd also be interested to read if there are other areas where there are far-more options to choose from, for this activity.
